These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Bitcoin Day Panama website and your participation in our events. By purchasing tickets or registering for our events, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Definitions

"Event"
Bitcoin Day Panama 2026 and any associated activities, sessions, or gatherings.
"Organizer"

"Attendee"
Any person who purchases a ticket or registers to attend the Event.
"Ticket"
The admission pass purchased to attend the Event, in any tier (Genesis, Hal, or Satoshi).

2. Acceptance of Terms

By purchasing a ticket or registering for the Event, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Event Tickets

  • Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Organizer
  • Each ticket grants admission to one person only for the specified ticket tier
  • You must present valid identification matching your ticket registration at check-in
  • The Organizer reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any attendee who violates these Terms
  • Tickets must be purchased through our official website or authorized resellers only

4. Payments and Pricing

  • All prices are displayed in USD and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated
  • Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase
  • We accept major credit cards, Bitcoin, and other payment methods as indicated at checkout
  • The Organizer reserves the right to change ticket prices at any time without prior notice
  • Early bird and promotional pricing are available for limited periods only

5. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Refund requests made more than 60 days before the Event: Full refund minus a 10% administrative fee
  • Refund requests made 30-60 days before the Event: 50% refund
  • Refund requests made less than 30 days before the Event: No refund available
  • In case of Event cancellation by the Organizer, a full refund will be provided
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 30 business days

6. Event Changes

The Organizer reserves the right to modify the Event program, speakers, schedule, or venue at any time without prior notice. Such changes do not entitle attendees to refunds. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate significant changes to registered attendees via email.

7. Code of Conduct

All attendees must conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited:

  • Harassment, discrimination, or intimidation of any kind
  • Disruptive behavior that interferes with speakers or other attendees
  • Unauthorized recording or photography in restricted areas
  • Distribution of promotional materials without Organizer approval
  • Unauthorized commercial activities or solicitation
  • Possession of weapons, illegal substances, or dangerous items

8. Intellectual Property

All content presented at the Event, including but not limited to presentations, materials, logos, and branding, is the intellectual property of the respective owners. Attendees may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Event content without explicit written permission from the Organizer or content owner.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Organizer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your attendance at the Event. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for your ticket. This limitation does not affect your statutory consumer rights or liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

10. Force Majeure

The Organizer shall not be liable for any failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, terrorism, strikes, or other events constituting force majeure. In such cases, the Organizer may postpone or cancel the Event and offer credits, ticket transfers to future events, or refunds at its discretion.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Panama. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your attendance at the Event shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Panama City, Panama.

12. Changes to Terms

The Organizer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a new revision date. Continued use of our services or attendance at the Event constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
